Makes 4 large waffles


For the Waffle Batter:

1 sachet Nomu Pancake and Waffle Kit

1 egg

30 ml (2 Tbsp) oil

200 ml (3/4 cup + 4 tsp) milk

180 ml (3/4 cup) flaked almonds, toasted and roughly chopped

To Assemble:

2 bananas, peeled and cut in half lengthways

2-4 scoops vanilla ice cream

60 ml (1/4 cup) whipped cream

30 ml (2 Tbsp) flaked almonds, toasted

30 ml (2 Tbsp) honey


For the Waffle Batter:

Mix the first four ingredients together until a smooth batter forms. Add the almonds and mix again.

Pour 1/4 cup of the mixture into each waffle mould and cook for 3-5 minutes or until the waffle has turned golden brown.

To Assemble:

Place the banana on the cooked waffles and top with the ice cream, whipped cream and flaked almonds. Drizzle with honey and enjoy.
