BRAAI RECIPE: PORK BELLY & SHITAKE MUSHROOM KEBABS

To make three large skewers, you’ll need:

  • 600g pork belly
  • 200g shitake mushrooms
  • @home spice mix
  • Good glugg of olive oil  

Method:

  1. Score the pork belly with 1/2cm wide lines. 
  2. Cut the pork belly into 5cmX5cm blocks.
  3. Thread the pork belly squares and shitake mushroom onto each skewer.
  4. Generously coat the skewers in olive oil.
  5. Spice and then grill on a medium heat until done.
