CARDAMOM AND AMASI AFFOGATO

INGREDIENTS

2 x Nespresso Stockholm Fortissio Lungo capsules or 2 x Nespresso Ispirazione Roma capsules

Amasi Ice Cream

500ml Cream

250ml Amasi

1 x 385g tin condensed milk

EQUIPMENT

1 x Nespresso coffee machine

(Available in-store or online from @home)

METHOD

To make the ice cream:

  1. Whip 250ml of the cream until soft peaks form.
  2. Whisk together the rest of the cream, Amasi, condensed milk, cardamom and salt. Fold in the whipped cream. Pour into a metal loaf tin or freezer-proof container and freeze until solid.
  3. Once frozen, place a scoop of ice cream into two glass or porcelain cups (180ml).
  4. Prepare a Nespresso Stockholm Fortissio Lungo or Nespresso Ispirazione Roma capsule as an espresso (30ml) in each cup and pour over the ice cream just before serving.
