  • 500g steak strips
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 medium onions, cut into thin wedges
  • ½ a Red and yellow pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 Tin of baby tomatoes
  • 500g steak strips
  • ½ cup pitted ripe olives
  • Juice of one medium lemon
  • Chopped fresh oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Heat olive oil in large nonstick pan over medium-high heat until hot. Add the beef and stir-fry until outside of beef is no longer pink. (Do not overcook.) Remove from pan.
  2. Saute the garlic, onions and peppers. Add the tin of tomatoes and beef stips back to the pan and cook until the beef is tender
  3. Add the pitted olives, lemon juice and stir through. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Garnish with chopped oregano and serve with grilled pita bread and tzatziki

CHEF’S TIP: You can easily substitute the beef for lamb or chicken, or with your choice for vegetables for a vegetarian option.
