ICED ALMOND LATTE

Simple, delicious and refreshing! To give it an extra caffeine kick – add coffee ice blocks to your iced almond latte.

Prep time: 15 minutes

Cooking time: None

Freezing time for Coffee Ice Blocks: 4 hours or overnight

Total time: 15 minutes plus freezing time

Serves 2

INGREDIENTS

For the Coffee Ice Blocks:

500ml black filter coffee

Ice trays

For the Frozen Almond Latte:

125ml (1/2 cup) espresso coffee, cooled

500ml (2 cups) unsweetened vanilla almond milk

60ml (1/4 cup) almonds, roasted

30ml (2 Tbsp) honey

METHOD

For the Coffee Ice Blocks:

Pour the filter coffee into the ice trays and place in the freezer for at least 4 hours or overnight. If you prefer, you can always use plain ice instead of the coffee ice blocks.

For the Iced Almond Latte:

Place the espresso, honey and almonds in you Nutri Bullet and blend until smooth.

OR

Place the coffee/plain ice in your Nutri Bullet, add the espresso, almond milk, roasted almonds and honey. Blend until well combined and icy.
