OREO AND STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM
A winning recipe from our Home Chefs Club member Kamogelo Mahlako Maleka
INGREDIENTS
- 1 can condensed milk
- 500g fresh cream
- Crushed Oreo biscuits
- Strawberries
- 1 tbsp vanilla essence
METHOD
- Whisk the fresh cream with an electric or handheld mixer until stiff peaks form
- In a separate bowl mix the condensed milk with vanilla essence and pour in your cream mixture, gently folding until it is well mixed
- Separate this cream mixture into two parts. In one half, mix in your strawberries and in the other, mix in your crushed biscuits.
- Pour both into a freezer bowl and garnish with the remaining strawberries and biscuits.
