In How Tos, Trends

Drinks trolleys have seen a bit of a revival, in a nod to mid-century design. Effortlessly chic, the drinks trolley has a special allure, and is often times the centre of attention – both literally and figuratively! Fashionable and functional, drinks trolleys stir up a certain glamour and sense of occasion in spaces large and small. Whether it’s a quiet night cap or a more boisterous soirée, drinks trolleys are pleasing to the eye – and with the right stock, palette.

We’ve pulled together the winter drinks trolley essentials to do just that:

Ideally, your drinks trolley has two shelves at a minimum – one for your drinks, the other for serveware. Use the bottom for your drinks, and the top for decanters, glassware and other paraphernalia. Winter calls for warmer and spicier drinks, think mulled winter wine and gin toddies. Good wines and spirits to stock up on include Vermouth, Campari and Cointreau. Seasonal garnishes like oranges, cinnamon and ginger are not only decorative, but go down a treat in chilly weather. Styled with some fresh blooms, your drinks trolley will charm all!
